The pain of arthritis (osteoarthritis or OA) adversely impacts the lives of dogs and cats as well as the activities we can share in with them. But there is hope for these animals - beyond a prescription of pain pills.
In Session 1 of the Arthritis Summit (
https://bit.ly/VetVineArthritis) the focus will be on arthritis awareness and recognition. You will hear from Dr. Marie Bartling (a veterinary pain practitioner) on Recognizing Osteoarthritis in Dogs and Cats and from Dr. Margaret Gruen (a veterinary behavior specialist) on Pain and Behavioral Change in Dogs and Cats. The session will also include time for Q and A with our presenters.
