With the recent increase in legalization and use of recreational marijuana in various parts of the country, there have been increases in accidental pet exposures and toxicoses. In addition, use of illicit drugs - including synthetic cannabinoids - has become a growing problem. The veterinary literature has only recently reported on synthetic cannabinoid exposures in pets.
